The UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships are just the right occasion to pay the approaching anniversary! Ten years of racing, ten years of passion, ten year in which the organizing committee always knew how to reinvent itself by offering an event that not only left nothing to chance, but an event that always put the biker in its focus of interest.  Ten years in which our efforts have found precious recognition, internationally, and gained unanimous popularity among bike enthusiasts.

With great pleasure I would like to welcome everybody coming to the Marca Trevigiana for the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships; athletes and federations, team managers and coaches, our friends of the press and also the TV broadcasters.

Since the awarding of this event back in September 2008, we are working relentlessly on providing a spectacular and impeccable organized event. We don’t want to be different, we are different by nature and it’s written in our DNA to give our best in all that we accomplish!

At this point I would like to thank all members of Pedali di Marca who once again put all their strength and passion into this to reach an impeccable result.

Special thanks go to the Region of Veneto, the Province of Treviso and the six municipalities the World Championships course crosses, to the sponsors and supporters for their important financial contribution, and last but not least, to the innumerable volunteers, because without them all this wouldn’t be possible.
