How many km do the different distances cover?
There are four distances: the Classic with 51,7 km, the Marathon with 77,1 km – both open to all. The distances with 116,8 km (men) and 98,5 km (women) are reserved for the World Championships.
Are youth categories admitted to the race?
No. Only athletes who have turned 16, holding an official license can take part in the race: the categories Juniors and Master Juniors are allowed to race on the Classic distance ONLY.
When will the courses be open for training?
At the beginning of April the courses will be roughly signed, while the complete signposting of the race will be installed on Thursday prior to the race. Some sections of the race course will be opened for the race day only (the redirections will be clearly signed).
When training on the course, we kindly ask you to take care of the areas you pass, the people you meet and the private properties you cross: a successful race event also depends on your collaboration!
If there's rain, will there be an alternative course?
In case of adverse weather conditions or impassability a "rain course" will be set up, a special version of the race-track elaborated ad hoc in order to avoid the endangered parts, while we will still maintain our standards regarding technique, safety and entertainment corresponding to the characteristics of our event.

Is there a maximum number of participants?
Yes. There are 800 athletes accepted on both, the Marathon and the Classic distances.
There is no participation limit on the World Championships distances.
Are you allowed to participate if you do not hold a cycling license?
Athletes with no official cycling license are allowed to take part in the so-called “fun race – pedalata ecologica”. The start of this race will be 15 minutes after the start of the last start box of the Marathon and Classic distances. The participant must present a medical certificate of good health at the moment of registration. Self-declarations of state of good health are not accepted.
Can you register the day prior to the race?
You can register for the race directly at the race-office on Saturday June 25th, 2011, the entry fee is € 50.00.
On Sunday June 26th, 2011 no registrations will be accepted.
